20 years ago, Ballinteer Male Voice Choir (BMVC) was founded. Today, the choir has 30 members. Weekly rehearsals are held in the library of Our Lady's Boys School on Thursdays between 8pm and 10pm, from September to May. In May 2013, BMVC presented the Third International Male Voice Choir Festival in St John the Evangelist church, featuring choirs from Italy, France and Ireland. During the year, it also hosted choirs from Norway and Finland.
