A page to keep us occupied during the virus lock down. For the time being, send your sound files to johndunne@fastmail.com and give me a few days to upload.

Recording Tips

Convert your recording to the universal mp3 format if possible. Other formats will work only if the listener's device has the software to play it.

To record with accompaniment if you can't play an instrument, download a backing track for a song you know from You Tube, turn on your recorder, play the backing track at an appropriate volume and sing against it while recording. You should get a good result with a bit of trial and error.

Finbar, Ollie and Pat C will be interested to know there's a backing track for De Banks on You Tube - The Banks of my Own Lovely Lee.
